It's been a while since my last entry(peer procrastination booo)

I am going to examine three but not the only three all-time-celebrated styles---Classic, Bohemian and Minimalist

Classic
Men

As one would expect, classic has the longest history among the 3. In fact, as early as the Roaring 20s, men's suit set the stage of men's calssic outfit. The suit survived the decades and overcame the gaps between continents, enjoying a global popularity.

To avoid making educational articles in my blog, I will not go into the history or evolution of classic style. However, there is a link if anyone is interested in seeing more:

Classic style has become affordable, yet celebraties still lead the style partly because they are frequent and generous exploiter of the style. Thus today I will choose Akon as our model.

I will not introduce the style in the usual approach of explaining the selection of the suit. Instead, I want to talk about the one thing that makes the difference. Accessory is extremely important in identifying one's style in classic outfit. It/They should never be overwhelming or redundant. The aim of accessories is a spark that immediately luminate you from the crowd.

In the first picture, Akon pulled out a black-n-white classic suit(believe me it is not because of the black-n-white photo, this is the outfit from his returning album freedom). I chose a picture specially emphasize on the upper body. The pocket cloth is a common yet effective tool to enrich the classy feeling of the well-define-edged suit. To show the wideness of his body, Akon wore a skinny tie which gave contrastive effect of making him look buffy but not skinny. The earwear is very smart and especially suitable for his skin color. He made good use of one's skin color to express his self-esteemness----by the way, no one should be shamed of it. The pair of stiff colored sunglasses adds power to him. With only 3 little accesories, Akon's outfit makes him look extraordinarily "sharp"

Here is a fair example. However the outfit satisfies the context---Dell computers are straight forward, simple and practical.

Women
Women's classic outfit is more flexible than men, giving them a lot of choices and variations. And thus pulling a decent classic female outfit is an award for a woman. Due to my limited knowledge of my counter gender, I will simply post some photos for referrence and leave you guys a chance to appreciate( I will do the same thing for the next 2 styles)

The model is my favorite Japanese singer Ayumi Hamasaki(Dahhhhh Loooooveeee

I chose two distinct but similar ones, hope it works.

Bohemian
Men
To be honest, I do not know a lot about Bohemian, you can look it up on wikipedia, but the key Bohemian feature is antinormal/traditional and wild-like.

Rockstars and Hippies are significant Bohemian figures and their pictures are very easy to find. Here I picked a Hippie picture that is somewhat "untradtional"

This outfit still keeps the central "natrual" feeling of Behemianism, without the exaggeration of color, which is heavily ultilized by Hippies. Although Hair is not technically an outfit, it plays an essential role in Bohemian---it is either long or explosive and always wild. The genius in this picture---yes, again, the accessory.  Notice the small leather bag in front of this guy's chest, leather can either give a feeling of natrual or high-class, and in this bag the colorful Bohemian edges( do not ask me what exactly is bohemian, here it is!) clearly locate the leather into the first category. The design of the sleeves is also very often seen in Bohemian outfits. This representation of Behemian style gives a smooth and comfortable feeling, removing the bias that Bohemian style is always visual-invasively colorful.

Women
Again, I am giving out examples that tells you what Bohemian can do, but not what people think Bohemian does----graceful wildness

Minimalist
Men
Simple and clean---minimal definition of minimalism. My favorite style out of the three. In an era of overwhelming brands and logos, minimalism provides brand-free space for stylish aspiration. In particular, Japanese clothing carries abundant examples.

(Uniqlo +J Collection copyrighted)
Do not be deceived by the flaming hair---this pair is definitely minimalist.

Using the least color combination, the left picture exhibits a good example of how minimalist differs from classic. Minimalists do not ask for sharpness and formality, and they use the very detailed information to surduce eyeballs. Uniform texture and simple lining throughout the outfit leaves no space of blame. The only different element, the vest, picks a comservative shape:solid color with long button lines( vest usually does not have four buttons). YET! The vest is made to be the gateway to surprise! The innermost layer gives a two-piece v-neck expression  which is so unique that no other complicated combination can be as impressive. Complete beauty of minimalist.

Now the right. Straight coat with no fany shaping in the waist. Absence of central buttons avoid distraction and natrually directes a sense of simmetric---BUT! Again this +J collection gives us a surplus! The left side of the coat has two pockets, immediately extract this coat from a thousand of coats. In the inner layers, round edges are more conservative and thus do not disturb the whole picture. No one can miss the middle line, and everyone will tell how special the simple coat is in the most common comparisons.
